Care Assistant

Our client is an established independent domiciliary care provider supporting over 80 service users across Shropshire and surrounding rural communities. Due to continued growth and high demand, they are now looking for additional Care Assistants to join their expanding team. This is a community-based position where you''ll be travelling between service users'' homes - including remote country roads - so confidence driving in rural areas is essential. What You''ll Be Doing as a Care Assistant Providing personal care and emotional support Assisting with daily living tasks Supporting with medication (after training) Helping with meal preparation Building positive relationships with service users and families Travelling between homes across rural Shropshire (paid mileage) What We''re Looking For To be successful as a Care Assistant, you must have: The right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship available) A UK Driving Licence Access to your own vehicle Confidence driving on remote country roads A caring, patient and reliable nature Good communication skills Previous care assistant experience is beneficial but not essential - full training provided What''s On Offer £13 per hour Paid mileage Flexible full-time or part-time hours Full training and ongoing development Supportive management team Opportunities for progression (Senior Carer / Team Leader) Driving and Travel Requirements This role involves travelling between service users'' homes across Shropshire, including ..... full job details .....
