Rotherwood Cares is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to join our agency team, supporting a well-established Extra Care Housing service in Burnley.

About the Role

You''ll be supporting adults living independently within their own apartments, helping them maintain their independence while providing high-quality, person-centred care.

No two shifts are the same, and you''ll become part of a friendly and supportive care team dedicated to delivering outstanding care.

Your Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assisting with washing, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Supporting residents with mobility and safe moving and handling.
• Encouraging independence and promoting choice.
• Assisting with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Monitoring residents'' wellbeing and reporting any concerns.
• Completing accurate care records and documentation.
• Following safeguarding, infection control and health & safety procedures.
• Working collaboratively with the wider care team to deliver exceptional care.

Shift Patterns

We have a variety of flexible shifts available, including:

Day shifts

Night shifts

Weekday shifts

Weekend shifts

Work as little or as often as you like.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
• A caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to delivering person-centred care.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
• Up-to-date mandatory training or willingness to complete this.
• A positive attitude and passion for supporting others.
