An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providersThis care home provides an environment where staff enables their residents to feel free to go about their daily lives. They work with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia**To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent**As a Support Worker your key duties include:Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residentsAssist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionshipEncourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activitiesEnsure accurate record keeping at all timesThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:Have a genuine desire to care for othersA good team playerGood verbal and written communication skillsProven experience of working in a care settingThe successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.60 per hour and the annual salary is £23,587.20 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week on days.
