Role Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality personal care and support to service users.
- Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility needs.
- Supporting individuals with eating, drinking, and medication prompts.
- Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Assisting residents with social activities and emotional support.
- Following safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- Minimum 6 months of UK care experience (preferred).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
- Mandatory training certificates (Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Safeguarding, Infection Control, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but not essential.
