Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
Required:
Empathic, honest, and caring nature
Good communication and organizational skills
Team player
Ability to work independently
Currently holding QCF Level 2 or working towards it
Friendly, creative, and confident
Satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance
Desired:
Experience in similar roles with relevant client groups
NVQ Level 2 (Adult) or equivalent
Experience working with older people
Willingness to undergo further training to improve care standards
Main Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, pressure relief, and continence needs according to care plans
Support residents with meals and hydration, following nutritional requirements
Assist with activities and outings organized by the support team
Build meaningful relationships with residents based on shared interests
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Support documentation and record-keeping
Assist with specimen collection and act as chaperone for medical staff
Ensure all paperwork is complete and legible
Deliver personalized care programs, promoting independence and dignity
Engage in social activities to enhance residents'' quality of life
