Care Assistant- Older People Services Are you a passionate Care Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to work in an Extra Care Housing Service based in Washington, SunderlandPay Rates: £12.45 - £14.05 Information the Role: The Care assistant will deliver high-quality, person-centered care within an Extra Care Scheme. This role involves team engagement, service compliance, and direct customer support to ensure safe and effective care in line with CQC standards and Riverside policies.What you will be doing: Providing support in customer homes and support best practices in person-centered care. Service Support: Promote and implement care policies and procedures to maintain safe service delivery.Administer medication in line with national guidelines, ensuring safe administration and storage. Customer Support: Deliver person-centered care and provide direct care when required.Maintain regular contact with customers, respond to emergencies, and evaluate welfare needs.Engage customers in service design and delivery, incorporating their feedback. Other Information: Flexible working hours required, including out-of-hours and alternate weekends.Undertake regular training and continuous professional development.Attend team meetings, supervisions, and reflective practice sessions.Additional duties may be assigned by the line manager.
