About The ServiceAmber Wood is a dementia-specialist residential care home in Burton-on-Trent, designed to meet the needs of people living with dementia and complex needs. It can accommodate up to 45 residents across three households, each with communal kitchens, living areas, a cinema room, dining room, and lounge. The home features private courtyards, a large garden, accessible en-suite bedrooms, and a community hub with a shop, coffee bar, hairdresser, and events room.

In Your New Role, You Will

Build relationships with Residents, which are open and two-way

Support Residents in their daily routines

Establish effective communication methods, reducing barriers when necessary

Accurately report and record work activities

Assist with activities of daily living and personal care

Support residents during mealtimes as needed

You Will Ideally Have

Experience in a care environment (training provided if not)

A warm, friendly manner, patience, kindness, and good communication skills

An honest, respectful character who celebrates diversity

The ability to be a natural caregiver and communicate openly with colleagues, residents, and visitors
