Role overviewAbout the role
Are you ready for a rewarding career in care? We are looking for new Care Assistants (Days or Nights available), to join our teams in our care homes in Accrington. In this role, you will be offering full person-centred care and support to our residents to ensure they feel safe, secure and content.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
Be alert to residents’ needs, health and wellbeing
Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy
Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
Maintain accurate records for each resident

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for patient, kind and understanding individuals to join our teams across our care homes in Accrington. The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about delivering first class care to elderly and often vulnerable residents. As well having a caring attitude, the ideal candidate will be:

Have strong interpersonal skills
Be a team player
Have the ability to use initiative
QualificationsThere are no essential education or qualification requirements for this role, however there is an increased rate of pay should you want to develop your career and progress to Senior level and gain an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
