Ashridge Court Care Centre is a bright, modern care home near Bexhill-on-Sea, set in the East Sussex countryside with sea views and peaceful gardens. The home provides high-quality general nursing care for up to 51 residents in spacious, well-furnished rooms, with compassionate support delivered with dignity, empathy and respect.

Ashridge Court Care Centre, 163 Barnhorn Road, Bexhill-On-Sea

Salary:

£12.81 - £13.13

Hours:

Part-Time (23 hours) or Full-Time (34.5 hours) per week, working on a rota including weekends and public holidays

In this rewarding role, you’ll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.

Due to the personal care needs of our clients, this post is only open to female applicants. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

What You’ll Be Doing

Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfortProviding personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independenceHelping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate careContributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representativesSupporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the homeBuilding positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your team

What You’ll Bring

A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your workStrong communication skills, both written and verbalA respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all timesIdeally, a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
