Our Care Professionals are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet, and support with medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.Helping clients overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids, adaptations, and personal equipment.Assisting with domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.Supporting personal care needs such as washing, bathing, and toileting while maintaining dignity and privacy.Helping with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks, and drinks, and assisting with feeding if required.Assisting with medication administration as per care plans.Job Description

Additional support you''ll provide includes:Companionship – engaging conversations, activities, and outings to prevent loneliness.Personal Care – hygiene, grooming, and toileting with respect and dignity.Medication Management – collecting prescriptions, reminders, and administering medication as per care plans.Nutrition and Mealtimes – preparing meals considering dietary needs and assisting with feeding.Housekeeping – light cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.Mobility Assistance – safe transfers, walking support, and use of mobility aids.Health Monitoring – observing and reporting changes in physical or mental health.Social Inclusion – encouraging participation in community activities and maintaining connections.Emotional Support – providing reassurance and empathy.Documentation – accurate record-keeping of care provided and client condition.Safety and Emergency Response – ensuring safety and responding to emergencies.Collaboration – working with care teams, healthcare professionals, and families.Qualifications
