We support service users in the following locations across Hertfordshire:
Location:
Hemel Hempstead, Borehamwood, Potters Bar, Bushey, Berkhamsted, Tring, Markyate, Stevenage, St Albans, Hertsmere
We welcome applications from drivers based in and around the surrounding areas
Pay Rate:
£14.60 - £16.00 per hour plus 30p mileage
Shifts work across seven days a week,
EVENING:
2:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm
Care Assistant: Role and ResponsibilitiesOur Care Professionals are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet, and support them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
Helping our clients overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
Assisting with domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
Our Care Professionals help with personal care such as washing, bathing, and toileting.
Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks, and drinks, assisting with feeding if required.
Assisting clients with preparing and administering medication.

Medication Management – reminders and assistance as per care plans.
Nutrition and Mealtimes – preparing meals considering dietary needs.
Housekeeping – light cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
Mobility Assistance – safe transfers, walking support, and aid use.
Health Monitoring – observing and reporting changes.
Social Inclusion – encouraging community participation and maintaining connections.
Emotional Support – providing reassurance and empathy.
Documentation – accurate record-keeping.
Safety and Emergency Response – hazard recognition and emergency handling.
Collaboration – working with care teams, healthcare professionals, and families.
QualificationsWhat you''ll need (besides a cape and superpowers!)
Previous experience isn''t necessary; we value your compassion, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. You should be resilient, eager to learn, and committed to respectful care.
Right to work within the UK
A driving license and access to a vehicle (especially important in rural areas)
