Cardiac rehab specialist nurse - B5.We are looking for a passionate and committed nurse who can work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team. Experience caring for cardiology patients and excellent interpersonal skills are desirable for this role.Help deliver a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation programme, providing secondary prevention, education and exercise supervision to patients who have undergone cardiac intervention or have been diagnosed with heart failure. Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to the care of the cardiac patient.Responsibilities
Review and triage referrals; provide advice, education and support to patients, their carers and other health professionals following cardiac surgery/intervention.Support and assist in delivering the cardiac rehab exercise/activity programme to patients.Attend multidisciplinary meetings and provide input on physical and psychological care.About us
