The successful applicant will be responsible for painting vehicles to a high standard and ensuring that the job is completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and cleaning vehicles before painting
- Mask off parts of the car that are not to be painted
- Select and mix the correct colour
- Ensure that the finish is smooth and even by inspecting for defects
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining your work area and tools
- Polishing and waxing vehicles after painting
- Applying layers of primer and paint to vehicles
- Carrying out minor repairs
