PwC UKAbout the roleOur Capital Project Services (CPS) team comprises multi-disciplinary professionals with experience delivering capital projects across sectors including Defense, Transport, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Government and Healthcare, Energy, Utilities and Resources. We help clients secure optimum value from their projects and provide the expertise to navigate challenging, complex situations. This role designs and delivers transformative project and programme management approaches across a wide range of industries, working with senior leaders of major global businesses to optimise capital programmes and help deliver intended benefits, especially where budgets are constrained or situations are challenging.What your days will look likeAs a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.ResponsibilitiesProactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Directors and aboveTrain and lead staffEstablish effective working relationships directly with clientsContribute to the development of your own and team''s technical acumenKeep up to date with local and national business and economic issuesBe actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clientsContinue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brandThis role is for you ifYou are a confident communicator able to deliver compelling messages with impact to influence a wide variety of audiencesYou are an exceptional leader with a strong desire to coach othersYou have exceptional technical aptitude and analytical skills, able to translate complex issues into clear client solutionsYou are passionate about capital projects delivery and eager to learn from colleagues and build collaborative relationshipsYou have a strong academic and industry background and currently hold a senior positionYou are open to travel nationally and internationallyYour career to date should demonstrate:The ability to lead a team to deliver projects and solutionsA track record in building trusted relationships with teams, clients and stakeholders and delivering outputsExperience in leading contract, supplier, or project management with understanding of core delivery principlesSelf-awareness and ambition to continuously develop skillsManagement consulting experience, including operating and delivery modelsExposure to capital planning and/or asset managementDigital transformation / technology consultingCommercial experience in supply chain management, procurement, or contract negotiationsWhat you’ll receive from usNo matter where you are in your career or life, our benefits are designed to add value and reward contributions.
