Job Title: Capital Project Manager - Interim Location: Central East London Rate: 323.75 per day (Umbrella) Contract Type: Interim Job Purpose: To lead multi-million-pound capital works projects from inception to post-completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The role involves developing projects through formal capital work stages, including project commissioning, scope development, technical reviews, contract administration, on-site management, and post-completion requirements. The Capital Project Manager will coordinate a multidisciplinary project team to drive performance in all key areas. Key Responsibilities: Lead capital projects across all RIBA/Council stages, ensuring compliance with design standards, statutory consents, and building regulations. Act as Contract Administrator for framework call-off projects, long-term agreements, or standalone contracts, including managing mini-tenders, issuing instructions, and overseeing completion stages. Manage spend profiles, control fee expenditure, approve payment recommendations, and review pricing/final accounts in partnership with Project Quantity Surveyors. Fulfill delegated Client CDM responsibilities, ensuring pre-construction information is provided and safety risks are minimised.
