Our local authority client based in East London are urgently seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager. £323.75 a day Umbrella About the Role We are seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead multi-million-pound capital works projects from initial inception to post-completion. You will act as the key lead developing projects through the Council''s formal capital work stages, covering project commissioning, scope development, technical reviews, contract administration, on-site management, and post-completion requirements. You will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary project team (including Quantity Surveyors, Clerk of Works, Resident Liaison Officers, Technical Support Officers, Design Officers, and external consultants) to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to exemplary quality standards. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead capital projects across all RIBA/Council stages, ensuring full compliance with the Housing Asset Management Strategy, statutory consents, design standards, and relevant building regulations. Contract Administration: Act as Contract Administrator for framework call-off projects, long-term agreements, or standalone contracts-managing mini-tenders, issuing instructions, leading site progress meetings, and overseeing practical completion and defects liability stages.
