Capital Programme Project Manager

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Capital Programme Project Manager this role will be: Hybrid SW1E6QP

The right candidate will:

• Lead the Commissioning and commercial team, providing strategic direction and leadership tracking progress and taking actions to ensure the efficient delivery of the Investment Programme.
• To be a key member of the Capital Programme Team, working closely with the Asset Programme Manager to deliver efficiency and mitigate risk in the pre-contract phase of Tasks
• To work collaboratively with Service Providers to develop the best value solutions to Client Briefs pursuant to Project Execution Plans and Proposal Documents.
• Lead the Commissioning team on the review of Service Provider Proposals Documents to ensure compliance with the Term Brief and priced accordance with the Price Framework.
• Will lead and manage multiple housing-related projects, from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the Housing Assets, Investments, and Standards directorate.
• Will prepare regular project updates, reports, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring all project milestones, timelines, and budgets are tracked and met.
• Will support and drive directorate major works Commercial and commissioning capital project delivery, governance and transformation activities.
• Support in the production of a capital major works Programme of works
• Working with external providers to quality assure housing project finances and costs.
