Capital Accountant 9-Month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £49,000 - £57,000Hybrid Working 2 Days On-Site Per Week An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Capital Accountant to join our client on a 9-month fixed term contract. This role will play a key part in supporting the finance team through a busy period, ensuring the effective management of capital accounting processes, financial reporting, and year-end activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part qualified accounting professional with capital accounting experience who is looking to make an immediate impact within a complex and fast-paced environment. Capital Accountant: Key Responsibilities Lead and support the production of year-end capital accounts. Manage capital valuations, revaluations, and associated recalculations. Prepare and complete TAC forms and supporting documentation. Undertake month-end accounting activities and reconciliations. Maintain and monitor the capital ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data. Complete statutory returns and PSR submissions. Produce capital reports and provide supporting analysis to key stakeholders. Prepare and maintain robust financial documentation and audit trails. Support the ongoing management and monitoring of the capital programme. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
