Canal Maintenance Driver Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire 13.85 per hour (40 hours per week) Full time Our client look after canal waterways in London and the Home Counties. Due to the time of year and season, they have an increase in grounds maintenance work along the canal networks. Applicants must hold a full, manual driving licence, be physically fit enough to walk several kilometres per day and enjoy working outdoors in all weathers. These are seasonal opportunities to run through spring, summer and autumn but may lead to securing permanent employment all year round. Duties: Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers and strimmers Leaf clearance Driving a 3.5tn company van from one location to another Clearing canals of debris and litter Litter picking and sweeping of footpaths Emptying bins and replacing bin bags Essential: Full, manual, UK driving licence A good team player The ability to build strong working relationships Reliable and an excellent timekeeper Please apply with your CV via the apply button. ..... full job details .....
