Campervan Conversion Technician

Our reputable client, a specialist in campervan conversions based near Croydon, is seeking a skilled Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator to join their busy workshop.

Duties as a Campervan Conversion Technician:

• Building, fitting, and maintaining campervans with full conversions and interior fit-outs
• Fabricating and welding aluminium and steel components for bespoke projects
• Mechanical tasks including engine conversions, brake systems, and servicing
• Joinery and cabinetry work for customised interiors
• Working with 12V electrical systems, including wiring and electrical installation
• Operating power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail in every build

Requirements as a Campervan Conversion Technician:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant trade experience, ideally in campervan, motorhome, or vehicle conversions
• Proficient in using power tools, welding, and fabrication equipment
• Skilled in mechanical tasks and 12V electrical systems
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Versatile and detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
• Experience working with classic or modern campervans, VW conversions, or motorhomes is advantageous
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to interpret technical instructions accurately
• Flexible regarding working hours, with optional Saturday shifts
