      <description>Location: Cambridge | Salary: &amp;pound;39.00/hour | Type: Temporary | Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced  Social Worker  to join the  Family Safeguarding Team  at Cambridgeshire County Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker with strong statutory children''s social care experience to join a supportive team on a hybrid basis.        Key Responsibilities    Manage a varied caseload of  CIN, CP and CIC  cases, including cases progressing through  PLO or Section 31 Care Proceedings .  Complete statutory visits and undertake effective assessments of children and families.  Chair  CIN and Core Group meetings , ensuring appropriate plans and actions are agreed and progressed.  Complete  court reports, risk assessments and parenting assessments  to a high standard.  Attend court hearings, with support from a Senior Practitioner or Team Manager where required.  Participate in the  Duty rota  and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.  Attend  Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences (ICPCs and RCPCs)  and prepare high-quality conference reports.
