Job Title: Casual Control Operator - Call Centre
Location: Honiton, Exeter
Pay: -14.17
Shifts: Contracted to work approx. 25.375 hours per week based on the following
Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun - early shift 7.00 - 15.00
Week 2 - Wed, Thurs, Friday - early shift 7.00 - 15.00
Week 3 - Mon, Tues, Sat & Sun - late shift 15.00 - 22.30
Week 4 - Wed, Thurs, Friday - late shift 15.00 - 22.30
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Casual Control Operator to join our busy Call Centre team. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that involves handling high volumes of incoming phone calls and supporting operational needs through accurate data entry and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and be confident working in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to high volumes of incoming calls
Provide excellent customer service by listening, assisting, and resolving customer inquiries
Accurately record and input data into internal systems using Microsoft Office and other software
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient call centre operations
Follow procedures and protocols for managing calls and data entry
Assist with general administrative tasks as required
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a call centre or high-volume customer service environment
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional phone manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Data entry experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Flexible availability to work on a casual basis, including peak times
