Tate are delighted to be working with a leading retail and commercial bank to recruit a number of Call Centre Advisors to join their Fraud and Scams team. These opportunities are ideal for experienced Customer Service Advisors and Contact Centre professionals who are passionate about supporting customers and making a difference during challenging situations.
These roles play a vital part in helping customers affected by the increasing threat of fraud and scams, ensuring they receive the support, guidance and protection they need when they need it most.
Our client is offering the opportunity to join their business on a 6-month contract. If you have experience working in a call centre, contact centre or financial services environment and enjoy supporting customers with empathy, patience and understanding, we would love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
As a Fraud Advisor, you will support customers who have unfortunately fallen victim to fraud or scams. Working within a busy banking contact centre environment, you will speak with customers every day, helping them navigate difficult situations and providing reassurance throughout the process.
Full training will be provided to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to investigate concerns, support vulnerable customers and secure positive outcomes.

- Training hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Hybrid working after training, with 3 days per week in the office

What You''ll Be Doing
- Working in a fast-paced call centre environment, taking up to 60 calls per day.
- Supporting banking customers during vulnerable moments and helping them resolve fraud and scam related concerns.
- Building natural rapport through high quality conversations, ensuring customers feel protected, supported and valued.
- Demonstrating resilience when handling challenging customer situations and delivering positive outcomes.
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience, tailoring your approach to each individual''s needs.
- Showing empathy, patience and understanding throughout difficult conversations.
- Learning about emerging fraud trends and scam activity to continually develop your knowledge and expertise.
- Working closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to team success.
What We''re Looking For
- Previous experience within a contact centre or call centre environment.
- Experience within Financial Services or Banking is highly desirable.
- Comfortable managing a high volume of customer calls, typically 60+ per day.
- Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding during sensitive customer conversations.
- Strong team working skills and a highly motivated attitude.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business priorities.
- Ability to learn quickly and develop within a specialist fraud and scams environment.
Training
Successful candidates will complete up to 6 weeks of paid training. At least 4 weeks of the training programme will be delivered onsite in the office, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Once training has been successfully completed, the role will move to a hybrid working pattern with office attendance required 3 days per week.

This position is within the Financial Services sector and will be subject to comprehensive pre-employment screening, including a DBS check, credit check and three years'' referencing.
