Calibration Engineer (site based)

Calibration Engineer (site based) Location: Leeds, LS11 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary Range: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Role Purpose The Calibration Engineer will be permanently assigned to a key customer site and will be responsible for calibrating, verifying and supporting the performance of medical simulators located at the facility. The role will ensure that all assigned equipment remains accurate, reliable, safe and compliant with applicable ISO standards, customer requirements, applicable procedures and quality-management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the customer''s laboratory, engineering and quality teams. This is a practical, customer-facing position requiring strong technical ability, attention to detail and professionalism needed to represent our business within an important customer''s facility. Key Responsibilities Calibration and Performance Verification Carry out planned and scheduled calibration of medical simulators and associated measurement systems. Calibrate and verify parameters such as load, torque, displacement, position, temperature, flow and speed, depending on the equipment and application. Ensure calibration activities are undertaken using suitable, traceable reference equipment. Complete calibration work in accordance with applicable ISO, ASTM and other relevant testing standards.
