Calibration Engineer - Precision Instrumentation and MeasurementLocation: KidderminsterWe are seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Maintenance and Calibration Manager. This is a hands-on role, focused on ensuring the precision, accuracy, and compliance of all instrumentation, linear measurement, and testing equipment used both onsite and by external customers.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, maintain, and follow calibration procedures for a range of instrumentation and linear measurement equipment.Perform routine calibration and adjustments to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.Coordinate monthly calibration schedules using CMMS and maintain up-to-date asset records.Produce and manage calibration reports for internal use and external customers.Ensure calibration assets and documentation are audit-ready at all times.Maintain and develop calibration lab standards, including 5S practices.Advise on gauging requirements, wear rates, and replacement needs to support continuous production.Support quality investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Comply with SHE and statutory Safety, Health, and Environment requirements.Communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business.Required Experience and QualificationsEssential:Recognised electrical/mechanical qualifications (HNC, HND, BTEC Level 3 or above).Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in an ..... full job details .....
