Title: Calibration Engineer - Medical Devices Location: WitneyContract Type: 12 monthsWork Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: Competitive package ranging up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience and the position)Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Calibration Engineer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of measurement and testing equipment used in the manufacturing, testing, and maintenance of medical devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calibration planning, execution, documentation, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory, production, and inspection equipment.Develop, implement, and maintain calibration schedules and records.Ensure all measurement equipment complies with internal quality requirements and regulatory standards.Troubleshoot and resolve calibration-related issues to minimize equipment downtime.Review calibration certificates and verify traceability to national or international standards.Coordinate with external accredited calibration laboratories when required.Support equipment qualification activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).Prepare and maintain calibration procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures ..... full job details .....
