Caf- Assistant (Barista) - Garden Centre Caf-

Location: Lawrence Weston, Bristol

Pay: -13.92 per hour

Hours: 15-20 hours per week (with occasional increases up to 24 hours)

Shift Pattern: Approx. 6-hour shifts

Contract: Part-time

About the Role

We are recruiting for a friendly and experienced Caf- Assistant/Barista to join a busy garden centre caf- in Lawrence Weston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and has previous barista experience.

As part of the caf- team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality hot and cold drinks, assisting with food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness standards, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving coffees, teas, and speciality beverages
• Operating coffee machines and barista equipment
• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assisting with food preparation and food service
• Handling cash and card payments
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the caf-
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Supporting colleagues during busy periods

Requirements

Essential

• Previous Barista experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
• Availability to work weekends

Desirable

• Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (or higher)
• Previous experience in a caf-, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality setting
