Café SupervisorLocation: Near HailshamSalary: £26,890 per annum (FTE), pro rata to 30 hours per weekJob Type: Permanent, Part-time (30 hours per week)We are looking for a proactive Café Supervisor to manage our on-site café''s day-to-day operations and support wider site operations, particularly during weekends. This role includes leading the café team, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and presentation, and acting as Duty Manager during weekends.Day-to-day of the role:Catering Operations and Food Service:Develop and maintain a high-quality menu tailored to a family audience.Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and effective resource management.Lead food preparation, maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards.Support catering for events, including private hire and corporate functions.Maintain attractive counter displays and ensure a positive customer journey.Manage financial aspects including operating tills, monitoring costs, pricing, and profitability.Stock Management:Efficiently source and manage stock from approved suppliers.Monitor stock levels, wastage, and rotation, and maintain accurate records.Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.Customer Service:Deliver a professional customer experience, handle feedback positively, and encourage repeat visits.Create a welcoming environment aligned with the wider visitor experience.Team Leadership:Train and support team members in café ..... full job details .....
