      <description>Location: Sandwell | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | A&amp;M EDM Limited is looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer to join our precision engineering team in Smethwick.  This is a varied role within a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will produce CNC programs for work ranging from complex one-off components through to repeat and batch production.  The work includes technically demanding components for Formula 1, motorsport, aerospace and other high-performance engineering sectors. You will need to work accurately, respond to changing production priorities and consistently meet demanding quality and delivery requirements.     Essential experience   Applicants must have:    Strong programming experience using Autodesk PowerMill.   Experience using Autodesk PowerShape.   Previous CAD/CAM programming experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.   A sound understanding of CNC milling and machining processes.   Experience programming complex, high-precision components.   Knowledge of machining a wide range of materials, from aluminium through to difficult-to-machine materials such as Inconel.
