This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical expertise and a keen eye for detail to play a key role in the design and manufacturing process.What''s on offer?A full-time permanent positionWorking Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pmPaid at 28,000 per annum - depending on experiencePension scheme and life cover after your probationary periodCareer progression opportunities with a great local employerWorking as a CAD/CAM Operative, your responsibilities will include:Creating and modifying 2D and 3D designs using CAD softwareConverting CAD designs into CAM programs for CNC machineryTesting and simulating designs to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMaintain accurate documentation of designs and programs.Troubleshooting issues with designs, programming, or machineryWorking closely with engineers and production teams to improve efficiencyWorking with other teams to implement any changes to drafts as soon as possibleConducting research - when requiredTo be successful in this CAD/CAM Operative position, you''ll have previous experience working in a CAD/CAM role, along with being proficient using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Other key skills, traits and experience include:A completed course in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) - beneficialAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGreat communication ..... full job details .....
