CNC Machinist Programmer (CAD/CAM)Location: SheffieldElevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business to recruit a CAD/CAM Engineer for their Sheffield operation.This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering company with a diverse project portfolio spanning manufacturing, automotive, tooling, themed products and bespoke engineering solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role within a fast-paced technical team, taking projects from customer concept through to CNC manufacture.The RoleAs a CAD/CAM Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and developing CAD models, generating CNC programmes, operating CNC machinery, and supporting quality inspection processes. You will work on a wide variety of projects, from one-off components and jigs to larger-scale bespoke products.Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be involved throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring customer requirements are met while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and develop 2D and 3D CAD models using industry-standard softwareConvert customer drawings and models into production-ready CAD dataGenerate CNC programmes and toolpaths using CAM softwareSet up, operate and maintain CNC machineryProduce detailed engineering drawings to required standardsLiaise with customers to ensure technical specifications and project requirements are metUtilise 3D scanning and ..... full job details .....
