Are you a CAD Technician, CAD Draftsperson or AutoCAD Designer looking for a permanent role where you will be properly supported and trained, working on a variety of exciting projects where no two jobs are the same?

This is a permanent position with a well-established specialist business, where you will join a close-knit design team and receive on the job training (including industry-specific training in temporary structures) to help you become a key part of the department long-term.

The company design and deliver temporary structures for large-scale events across music, arts and sport. They are known for a friendly, hardworking culture and as a result of continued growth and expansion plans (including overseas work), they are looking to add another CAD professional to their team.

In this role you will produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD, collaborate with the wider engineering/design team to understand requirements, update the parts catalogue and support the development of new products and temporary structure designs (including staging and scaffolding-related layouts).

This role would suit a CAD Technician / CAD Draftsperson with AutoCAD experience (2D or 3D) looking for a secure, long-term position in a supportive team, with training and the chance to build your skills on varied projects.

The Role:
* Producing detailed drawings using AutoCAD for temporary event structures
* Collaborating with the design/engineering team to interpret project requirements and deadlines
* Updating the parts catalogue and supporting new product development
* Office-based initially, with the option of hybrid working once up to speed

The Person:
* CAD Technician / CAD Draftsperson with AutoCAD experience (2D or 3D)
* Happy to work to tight deadlines and communicate well within a small team
* Construction / engineering background beneficial
