Mechanical and Electrical BIM TechnicianLocation: Belfast, Warrenpoint or Dublin (office-based with occasional site visits) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOEThe OpportunityReed Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Mechanical and Electrical BIM Technician on behalf of a growing construction and engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional with Revit MEP experience to join a collaborative team delivering a variety of commercial, industrial, residential and infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce and maintain mechanical and electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.Develop detailed 2D drawings, layouts, sections, schedules and installation drawings from BIM models.Model mechanical and electrical services including ductwork, pipework, containment systems and specialist equipment.Coordinate MandE services with architectural, structural and other building services disciplines.Carry out clash detection and support the resolution of coordination issues using Revit and Navisworks.Review engineering drawings, project specifications and site information, incorporating updates into BIM models.Produce construction and installation drawings to agreed project standards.Maintain accurate and up-to-date BIM information throughout the project lifecycle.Work in line with BIM Execution Plans, modelling standards and project information requirements.Liaise with engineers, project managers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical ..... full job details .....
