Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and architects to bring projects to fruition. The successful candidate will have experience with multiple CAD programs, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed drawings, plans, and schematics using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications. Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards in all technical drawings. Modify existing designs based on feedback or changes in project scope. Create 3D models using software such as NavisWorks, Sketchup, or Civil 3D. Maintain an organised library of design files and documentation. Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports. Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure compliance with regulations. Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, NavisWorks, Sketchup, or Civil 3D is highly desirable.
