CAD Technician Location: Eye, Suffolk Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Permanent, Full-Time Site-Based Up to £35,000 depending on experience 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 25 days with service 4% company pension contribution, increasing with service Life Assurance at 3x basic salary Free on-site parking Employee discounts and health and wellbeing benefits Established and growing engineering and manufacturing business Excellent opportunity to develop your career The Role We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join our Engineering and Design Team. You will be responsible for producing accurate engineering, fabrication and construction drawings, preparing Bills of Materials and supporting the successful manufacture of customer-specific products. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and customer-facing teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical and meet the required technical and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Produce and check engineering, fabrication and construction drawings. Prepare and check Bills of Materials and parts lists. Use Autodesk Inventor 3D, AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Support the use and development of Autodesk Inventor and Vault Professional. Apply Design for Manufacture principles and identify opportunities for improvement. Support Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives. Ensure all work meets company, ..... full job details .....
