CAD Technician

Position: CAD TechnicianLocation: Presteigne, WalesSalary: Up to 45K, DOENicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician, to join an innovative and established client in the Presteigne area.We are looking for someone with a background in understanding technical drawings and using computer applications to create the necessary tools and processes for manufacture.It would be preferable if you had a background in PCBs to understand our current market, however it is not essential.You will be required to provide technical support to new and existing customers and assist with New Product Introductions.Job PurposeProcess data through CAD software "Genesis LT" and generate the necessary tooling for production, including: Drill ProgramsRout ProgramsFiles for Direct ImagingFiles for Automatic Optical inspection (AOI)Files for Bare Board (BBT)Create Process flows for new jobs within our ERP software "XA".Loading existing Process flows within our ERP software "XA Training and Experience Requirements Educated to degree level preferred but not essentialEducated in to GCSE (grades >4.4) standard or above in STEM subjectsGood numeracy skillsIT literate, specifically email (Office), Word and ExcelExperience in printed circuit manufacture would be an advantage We offer a range of benefits that include: Salary sacrifice-led pension plan that matches employee contributions up to 7%Employee Assistance ProgrammeFree life assurance cover at the value of four times basic ..... full job details .....
