Junior CAD EngineerLocation: Aylesford, Kent (with travel to London as required)Employment Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Junior CAD Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering contractor specialising in the installation and delivery of backup power generation systems across commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure projects.Based at the company''s office in Aylesford, Kent, the successful candidate will support the design and engineering teams in producing accurate technical drawings and documentation for a variety of mechanical and electrical (MandE) installation projects.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career within CAD design and engineering, gaining valuable experience working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.The role will be predominantly office-based, with occasional travel to project sites across London as required.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and production of detailed 2D CAD drawings for MandE and generator installation projects.Produce and update technical drawings, layouts, schematics and installation plans using AutoCAD or similar software.Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and requirements.Support the design and coordination of backup generator installations, associated electrical systems and mechanical infrastructure.Review and amend existing ..... full job details .....
