Are you a CAD Technician with highway design or similar experience, looking for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract within a highly successful business who offer flexible work hours and the potential opportunity to progress into other roles for permanent work?

Since their establishment in 2004 this company specialises in providing high-quality planning and engineering solutions for both public and private sector clients. Their work includes transport planning, flood risk management, drainage strategies, and infrastructure advice, with a strong focus on sustainable development.

In this role you will be required to have some knowledge in highway design using AutoCAD. Using packages like Site3D or Autodesk Civil 3D will be useful but not necessary. Day to day you will be assisting engineers with Section 278 drawings and Section 38 packages. The ideal candidate will be in the office full-time, but hybrid options can be explored. The contracted working week being 37.5 hours with flexible working times and optional overtime available paid at 1.5x.

This autonomous role would suit a CAD Technician from a Highway Design or similar background looking for a 6-month fixed term contract within a successful firm who can offer potential permanent job openings.

The Role

• Assist engineers with highway design drawings and packages
• Use various AutoCAD packages, training on software will be provided
• Monday to Friday, flexible start times based on a 37.5-hour week
• On site with hybrid options available
