Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our client''s team in Eye, Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to work on customer-focused engineering projects, producing accurate designs, drawings, and Bills of Materials that support efficient manufacturing and project delivery. Working closely with the engineering, production, and project teams, you''ll play a key role in developing innovative design solutions, enhancing 3D designs and ensuring products are delivered om time. Ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and making a real impact.Based in Eye, SuffolkMonday to Friday - 9.00am till 5.00pmPermanent Salary dependent on experience Duties Include Produce and review approval, fabrication, and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and delivery within agreed timescales. Create and check Bills of Materials (BOMs) and parts lists, ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and released efficiently to production. Work closely with customers, colleagues, and manufacturing teams to ensure clear communication and the smooth flow of information. Support the ongoing development and use of Autodesk Inventor 3D and Vault Professional across the Engineering and Design team. Apply Design for Manufacture principles and value-engineering techniques to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
