CAD TechnicianGreater Manchester 43,000 per annum37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridayPermanent Employment Solutions is recruiting an experienced CAD Technician for a growing UK engineering and structural steel business based in Manchester.This is a new position within the Design/Engineering team, working alongside an existing CAD Technician and closely with Engineers, Project Managers and Production.The Role You will produce accurate engineering drawings, models and technical documentation supporting the manufacture and delivery of bridge and structural steel projects. Key responsibilities include:Produce and amend engineering drawings and CAD modelsPrepare fabrication details, schedules and technical informationWork closely with Engineering, Projects and ProductionMaintain drawing revisions and document controlResolve drawing discrepancies and technical queriesSupport design reviews and value engineeringEnsure drawings meet project, client and company requirementsContribute to improving CAD standards and engineering processesAbout You We are particularly interested in candidates with:Previous CAD Technician experience within structural steel, bridge engineering, fabrication or a related engineering environmentStrong AutoCAD capabilityExperience producing drawings for manufacture and constructionAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical informationGood understanding of fabrication processesExcellent technical accuracy and attention to ..... full job details .....
