Cad Technician

What you will do

• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD, Revit or Civil 3D
• Turn engineers'' sketches and mark-ups into detailed drawings
• Update drawings as designs change and keep revisions controlled
• Check drawings against company and industry standards
• Manage drawing registers and issue drawings to clients and site teams
• Coordinate models with other disciplines where needed

What you need

• 2+ years in a CAD or drafting role
• Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit or Civil 3D an advantage
• Understanding of drawing standards and layer conventions
• Good organisation and accuracy
• HNC/HND or relevant qualification, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• BIM experience (ISO 19650)
• Navisworks for clash detection
• Experience in [sector, e.g. highways, drainage, M&E]
