CAD Technician

Our client, a respected entity in the water sector, is currently seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team on a contractual basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to be involved in both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including clean and waste water initiatives.

• Developing and preparing CAD drawings for a range of water projects
• Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements
• Ensuring all drawings adhere to project specifications and industry standards
• Managing multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water
• Participating in hybrid work arrangements with flexibility in location
• Assisting in reviewing and updating CAD standards and protocols
• Contributing to the successful delivery of both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects

• Experience in civil CAD design, specifically within the water sector
• Proficiency with CAD software and other design tools
• Understanding of design standards and regulations in the water industry
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
