Process CAD developments into the factory using various operations Prepare detailed cost calculations, taking into account materials, labour, and overheads to generate competitive pricing. Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate job costing and feasibility. Provide expert advice to customers on design improvements and manufacturing optimisation. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to assess project requirements. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Ensure accurate and timely estimates to support business growth and client satisfaction. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques. Additional experience in programming machinery in Radan or similar software is highly desirable. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a CAD Designer/Estimator within the sheet metal industry or wider metal manufacturing sector. Strong proficiency in CAD SolidWorks.
