Location: Warrington

Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 + profit share bonus

Responsibilities

CAD Technician position dealing with a high quality range of canopies, walkways, roof glazing, rooflights, and brise soliel

Attend and carry out site surveys across the UK, sometimes requiring an overnight stay subject to location

Design and prepare detailed general arrangement drawings including plans, elevations and section drawings, and or scale drawings for complex projects, survey measurements, sketches, and specifications

Interface with other departments to assist with the flow of work from sales, planning, factory, delivery and installation

Utilising AutoCAD and Excel to prepare electronic fabrication drawings, cutting lists, material schedules/allocations, packing lists and paint schedules

Prepare basic requirements on structural design for assessment by structural engineer

Projects ranging in value from £6k up to £250k

Ideal applicant

Must have design experience within the construction / engineering market sector

Ideally from the roofing, cladding, facades, structures, metalwork, building envelope, timber frame, modular building, steel frame, exteriors products market sector

Must have 2D AutoCAD experience

Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Able to problem solve and offer solutions

High levels of attention to detail

Hungry, approachable and strong planning skills
