CAD Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician to join a multidisciplinary design team delivering a major programme of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects across the UK water sector.The position is available on a remote basis and offers an initial 18-month contract, providing long-term project exposure across water and wastewater treatment design.The role would suit a technically strong CAD professional with experience across Civil 3D, Revit and BIM-led engineering environments.The RoleYou''ll be involved in:Producing technical drawings and design information for water and wastewater projectsSupporting infrastructure and non-infrastructure treatment schemesWorking with Civil 3D, Revit and wider CAD/BIM platformsDeveloping and updating drawings throughout project deliveryCoordinating technical information across multidisciplinary design teamsSupporting civil and reinforced concrete design informationIncorporating engineering comments and design changesMaintaining accurate drawing and model informationSupporting BIM-led design and project deliveryWhat They''re Looking ForPrevious experience as a CAD Technician or similarStrong CAD and technical drawing capabilityExperience using Civil 3D and/or RevitUnderstanding of BIM processes and coordinated design environmentsAbility to interpret engineering designs and technical requirementsExperience producing engineering drawings and project informationStrong attention to detail and organisational ..... full job details .....
