CAD Technician

Position: CAD TechnicianLocation: Westbury, Wiltshire Salary: 32,000 - 36,000 CAD Technician required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of control panels based in the Westbury area. Due to the continued success they are looking to recruit a CAD Technician to join their small and experienced engineering team. It is anticipated the succesful candidate will haveprevious experience with use of CAD software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks, and a willingness to learn electrical systems and control panels. CAD Technician - Position Overview Producing electrical schematics and control panel drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks ElectricalDeveloping electrical designs and drawings for control panels and associated systemsIssuing accurate CAD drawings and technical information to the workshopWorking closely with the workshop team to ensure designs are practical and can be manufactured correctlyReviewing and updating drawings where requiredSupporting the design and manufacture of control panels from initial requirements through to completionUsing existing electrical and control-panel knowledge to identify and resolve design or manufacturing issuesDeveloping knowledge of the company''s products, systems and design processes CAD Technician - Position Requirements CAD Design experience using software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks Engineering qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential where relevant practical experience is demonstratedStrong ..... full job details .....
