Cad Technician Advanced Steel

Poolhall Recruitment is seeking a CAD Technician to join a dynamic fabrication office supporting structural steel projects in the wastewater, energy, and transport sectors. As a CAD Technician, you ll create GA and fabrication drawings using Advanced Steel, conduct site surveys, and assist in project estimating. You ll collaborate with engineers and clients to deliver high-quality design packages aligned with BSEN standards, including BSEN 1090. Key Responsibilities: Produce GA/fabrication drawings (2D/3D) and BOMs Include welding symbols/material specs in line with BSEN 1090 Conduct site surveys and client meetings Assist with estimating and procurement Maintain accurate document control and compliance documentation Requirements: Proven experience as a CAD Technician in structural or heavy engineering Proficiency in Advanced Steel Familiarity with BSEN standards and modular design principles Excellent communication and multitasking skills Background in the water or construction industry preferred If you re a detail-oriented CAD Technician ready to contribute to innovative steelwork solutions, apply now or contact Matthew at Poolhall Recruitment. ..... full job details .....
