We''re looking for a CAD Programmer to support sheet metal production in Leeds, preparing accurate work for laser cutting and punch machines. As a CAD Programmer, you''ll use drawings and software to turn requirements into production-ready parts. You''ll also support the team with measurements, quality checks and production queries. What you''ll do Create and amend 2D/3D CAD drawings and assist with programming sheet metal laser and punch machinery Use nesting, optimisation and other production software Read technical drawings, check measurements and inspect finished work Work with the production team to maintain quality and meet deadlines What you''ll bring CAD experience and an understanding of sheet metal manufacturing Ideally, experience programming laser cutters or punch machines Confidence reading drawings and working accurately with dimensions A practical approach and willingness to learn new systems This CAD Programmer role could suit someone already working in sheet metal CAD/CAM, or a capable CAD user ready to develop their manufacturing programming skills.
