CAD Programmer Sheet Metal Manufacturing Leeds Permanent 15- 17 per hour 39 paid hours per week Early Friday finish Monday to Thursday: 7:00am-3:30pm + Friday: 7:00am-2:30pm + Overtime Ready to see your CAD work become real components on the factory floor? We''re looking for a CAD Programmer to support sheet metal production in Leeds, preparing accurate work for laser cutting and punch machines. As a CAD Programmer, you''ll use drawings and software to turn requirements into production-ready parts. You''ll also support the team with measurements, quality checks and production queries. What you''ll doCreate and amend 2D/3D CAD drawings and assist with programming sheet metal laser and punch machineryUse nesting, optimisation and other production softwareRead technical drawings, check measurements and inspect finished workWork with the production team to maintain quality and meet deadlinesWhat you''ll bringCAD experience and an understanding of sheet metal manufacturingIdeally, experience programming laser cutters or punch machinesConfidence reading drawings and working accurately with dimensionsA practical approach and willingness to learn new systems This CAD Programmer role could suit someone already working in sheet metal CAD/CAM, or a capable CAD user ready to develop their manufacturing programming skills.
