As the CAD Engineer, you will be producing general arrangement and detailed manufacturing drawings for a variety of the client’s product range. My client is offering a salary of £40,000 - £50,000, as well as: •  25 days holiday + bank holidays •  1 day birthday leave on top of holiday allowance •  8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday with a 4:30 PM finish on Fridays •  Pension •  Healthcare •  Onsite gym Responsibilities of the CAD Engineer •  Working from designs provided by our Engineering Team, produce high-quality 3D models. •  Produce initial GA drawings to submit for customer approval and develop them into detailed manufacturing drawings, using Autodesk Inventor Software. •  Produce “As Built” drawings incorporating lessons learned from previous builds, working closely with our Operations Team. •  Liaise with our internal Engineering / Operations Teams and our external customers as part of ongoing project and R&D meetings. •  Offer suggestions for design changes to increase production efficiencies and optimize material usage. • ...
